To the tune of Gillians Island...."A seven hour tour....a seven hour tour"..

This will be short as i'm kind of spacing out....

Saturday: 2 hour morning run: 14 miles, (had to run at easy pace), 1 hour afternoon run: 6 miles (run 14 minutes, walk a minute)..really just to get myself feeling like "Ironman" tired =0, total 20 miles.

Sunday: 104 mile ride, 9,000 feet of climbing, 6:45 (that's 6 hours and 45 minutes--just in case you were confused). Just shy of my required 7 hours, but I assure you the climbing and lack of slacking definitely made up for it. We were all business out there......

I will *have* to do a ride report tomorrow....because too many funny things happened today. Woke up at 6:00, made it to Julia's in Pacific Beach by 7:00, we were "wheels down" by 7:15?? Then...she flatted...she fixed it.....flatted again...we walked...back to her house! My tire also looked like it was going to split, so since Juls is just amazingly resourceful, knowledgeable and all things amazing when it comes to cycling (and other random wikipedia type knowledge)........she had a spare tire for me at her house! We FINALLY get started at like 8:45 maybe?? Which normally wouldn't be bad except, leaving that late meant I didn't get home.....until 5:00 p.m......

I am so wiped out I can't even describe it...I was also completely, absolutely filthy...salt was caked to my face, my bike that I spit polished last night looks like I did cyclocross today......surprisingly my legs feel good, I am just very very tired!!!

Off to eat dinner made by Dave and then to FROZEN YOGURT....i'm feeling brownies being mixed in tonight!
