D'ohhh......

I finished my swim this morning and had to do a 90 minute easy ride....so to make things easier, I hopped on my trainer.

Sometimes you learn the hard way.

I have my race wheels on my bike because I have trouble taking my back wheel off without a bike stand/extra hand and without flipping over, so I figured I have the Boulder Long Course next weekend, so why bother.

I should have bothered.

Bike on trainer.....all of a sudden riding gets easier. I look down and the trainer has burned a long line deep into the tire, basically a "hole," but a long skinny one all around the tire.

They're brand new tires. As in, I think they *may* have about 200 miles on them. SO mad at myself. Guess B&L will be getting another $50.00 from me sometime this week....

I've done that too, just by being lazy and not taking off the darn wheel! It's good to see I am not alone!

:-) mary!

Whoops! :( How is it that the race wheel causes the tire to burn through? (I don't have race wheels...). That stinks!!

BUT, you can always make yourself feel better with FRO YO!! I'll email you now with the details...HUGS!

Hey Sassy Shan!
It wasn't the race wheel itself per se, it's the idea that I had just put new tires on my race wheels and I should really have a spare wheel for the trainer and I don't, and the last thing I should use on the trainer are the race wheels, at the very least, should have just put the regular wheels back on =0......

Fro Yo will make ALL the difference =0 YAYYY!

Oh man, sounds like me... I love to opt for the trainer if it is easier than changing some wheels! And that darn line- I know it all too well!
