I figured out in order for me to keep my blog regular, I have to be "ok" with writing short messages rather than feeling pressured to write one, huge, long note....so here goes!! Some days will just be a summary of what is going on and other days may be longer, depending on my mood and well, how much sleep Soren gets during the day. Lately, it's been a lot of "snaps" (snap naps) =0.
Today was interesting went like this: up at 7:00 and I gave Soren a bath and was out the door by 9:00 to get to the 9:30 a.m. spin class.....got there at 9:20.....and there was a wait for the child care center..ugh. I had my favorite employee check to see if there were any spin bikes left.....there were 7. By 9:45 I said screw it, and went home....at this point, Soren was hungry again and I couldn't exactly run in padded shorts on the treadmill. Some days pan out better than others...the thing is, I have to somewhat coordinate with Soren's "eating schedule"..i'm nursing, and I do use a bottle if we have a babysitter or if i'm going to be out for a while so Dave can feed him, but for the purpose of the "gym" i'd rather not waste a bottle on that.....only because I can't pump as much as I need to because i'm around Soren all the time---so leaves little time for pumping (sorry, TMI, just read over this part next time =0) but it's a part of my training and it has to be figured in!! =0
So....I went back home and guess what? Decided to knock out six miles for the first time. Mission accomplished WITH the jogging stroller....and, someone decided to sleep long enough for me to come home, eat lunch, take a bath, swiffer vac the floor =0, and fix up my toes so I can go get them painted tomorrow for the Christmas party at Dave's work...Oh..yeah and I shaved for like the first time in eons =0.
Tomorrow there is rain in the forecast, so i'm contemplating hitting a spin class or swimming...Dave will be post-call and so I won't have to adhere to any specific schedule.
I did go to "swim" the other day and realized I can't even FIND my goggles...and i'm down to one swim cap..Thank you Ironman for making the cheapest swim caps ever..it ripped like on my third wear of it in the Spring when I attempted to swim many weeks pregnant.
Thankfully Marit carries a million pairs of goggles and swim caps!!! So, tomorrow i'll be well outfitted!
Aha, Soren has awoken.....let the night begin.....good night!

Hooray for Swimming! Sorry about the spin bike, though - I can't imagine waiting around for that long - good call to just leave! Running in padded shorts - no thank you! :)
