Wedding madness...

Brief week recap before I get to my point:
Monday: OFF =0
Tuesday: easy day of: 35 minute swim, 30 minute bike, 30 minute run (felt great!)
Wednesday: masters swim and i'm supposed to ride 90, run 30 hard.....

However....a little thing called life got in my way and the only reason i'm blogging is i'm waiting for my dogs to chil out a little bit and have some "outside" time before I run out and do a bazillion errands. Poor dogs, left the house this a.m. at 6:00 for masters and got home at 2:00.....and I have got to run some last minute errands before I leave for the east coast tomorrow bright and early. I'm thinking the bike will have to be shortened, if I get it in at all. Ugh...I loathe missing prescribed workouts, but if I don't get these errands done, i'll have some very un-loved feeling brides!

Which brings me to my next thought, i'm leaving tomorrow for over a week to Virginia where i'm from to be in two weddings of two of my favorite girls!! Nicole lives in Switzerland now and her wedding is in VA where we grew up (we were college roomies) and her wedding is this Sunday and my best friend from growing up, Jena her wedding is the following Saturday.....bridesmaid duties are in full swing! =0.

Training? Yes, i'll be training but on probably a hilariously modified schedule! Another best friend from college, Lauren was so cute, she told me about her pool I can swim in, so i'll be using that and scoping out some places to do Spinning and running is the easiest to get in. I managed to coerce my friend Shannon into a two hour run on Wednesday night since she's training for the marine corps marathon, so I knew that would be an easy "persuasion." OK! I am off!!

PS: you'd better believe when I come back from my trip on the 8th, I have absolutely no more vacation planned until after Ironman. Which means my 5th anniversary (which is the same night as Nicole's rehearsal dinner) and my 30th birthday in October will probably be minimal celebrations, although, I did tell Dave we need to do something when we get back for the anniversary, we never make a big deal out of it, but this year i'm feeling a need for a day spa........together..hmmm, we'll see!
